Arrive Early - It Matters!

Why get there early

  • Beat the traffic: Roads into the grounds get congested as gates open, so arriving early gives you breathing room.

  • Set up your space: Whether you’re tailgating, or heading to a VIP hospitality area, early arrivals get the best vantage points and time to settle in.

  • We are a rain or shine event and there is no re-entry once you have been admitted at the gates.

  • See event map at the bottom of this page for entrance gate locations, medical stations, shuttle and ride share locations as well as ADA parking areas.

  • Need directions to the correct designated parking area or ride share information? Check out our race day maps and driving directions to ensure you do not delay your arrival time on race day!

Need advice on what to bring, what is allowed and what is not allowed? Check out our what to bring page for more information!

Your Race Day Soundtrack

Your race day soundtrack is ready.

We’ve partnered with iHeartRadio to create the Official Iroquois Steeplechase Playlist—built for tailgates, private tents, and everything in between.

Turn it on while you’re setting up, keep it going through the races, and let it carry you into the final moments of the day. It’s an easy way to bring the energy of race day to your space.

What to wear to Steeplechase
A woman and a man smiling and posing outdoors at an event, with tents and greenery in the background. The woman is wearing a blue and white striped dress and a decorative hat, and the man is wearing a blue suit, a light-colored tie, and a wide-brimmed hat.

What to wear - Fashion Statements!

From vibrant spring fashion to polished racewear, Steeplechase style is all about sophistication with personality.

The steeplechase is a style-forward event, but comfort matters. Think “smart Southern casual” — sundresses, linen, sunhats, boots, sport coats or linen jackets. Think bold hats, lightweight fabrics, and shoes suitable for grass.

While many enjoy full dress, don’t feel pressured; choose what lets you enjoy the day.
