Peter Nappi is opening its Germantown showroom this month to raise awareness and drive membership numbers for the Iroquois Alliance, the young professionals group that supports the nonprofit Iroquois Steeplechase.
Those who attend the Steeplechase Champions Party on Thursday, Jan. 28, will be treated to live music, food and Steeplechase’s signature cocktail, the Honey Jack Julep—plus a chance to win a pair of special-edition Peter Nappi Viviana boots. The luxe equestrian item, valued at $750, was specially crafted by the brand to commemorate the 75th Iroquois Steeplechase.
To gain access to the Steeplechase Champions Party, all guests must be a current Alliance member. Individuals can join HERE for $25, which provides a one-year membership to the Iroquois Alliance and the ticket to the all-inclusive party.
Local to Nashville, the Peter Nappi brand celebrates family heritage, and the craft that Peter Nappi brought when he emigrated from southern Italy. The Peter Nappi studio, built in 1906 and located in a repurposed abattoir called the Neuhoff Meat Packing plant, supplies Nashville and beyond with leather goods, curated items and a beautiful collection of handmade shoes. The space also houses the brand’s leather crafting workshop and a large stage for entertainment.
The Alliance was formed in 2010 to help increase awareness of the Iroquois Steeplechase mission and to raise money for the organization’s beneficiary, Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.
