Our Mission
Friends of Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt is an organization, founded in 1972, of volunteers working within Vanderbilt University to render volunteer service to all units of the Children’s Hospital, its patients, and families. It serves to enhance the hospital in matters of fundraising and public relations, and assists the hospital in continually re-examining and improving the various aspects of its service to patients and their families.
Our Focus
The focus of Friends is three-tiered and includes:
· Organizing events to raise much-needed funds for the Children’s Hospital.
· Promoting awareness and educating the public about the Children’s Hospital.
· Providing volunteer services to aid patients and families within the Children’s Hospital.
