HOW CAN I PURCHASE A BOX?
Box owners from the prior year have the privilege of renewing their box for the current year, and there is a waiting list for placement in a permanent box.  Please note that the waiting list currently has over 200 names and turnover on boxes is extremely low.  Therefore, it can be several years before a box becomes available for you to purchase.  If you would like to be placed on the waiting list, please send your request in writing to info@iroquoissteeplechase.org or to:

WHAT EXACTLY IS A BOX?

Box seats are located on the hillside along the finish line.  They are the preferred seating for the event as they offer the best view of the finish line.  Iroquois boxes are not enclosed, covered, or air-conditioned.  Boxes are located on terraces on the hillside and are separated by metal or wood railings.

WHAT COMES WITH THE PURCHASE OF A BOX?

The price of a box includes seating for 8, 10, or 12 guests (dependent on box size and location; majority of boxes seat 8) and two parking passes.  Each box contains folding chairs equal to the number of guests the box accommodates.  Each box owner will receive one parking pass for Box Holder Lot A and one parking pass for Box Holder Lot B.  New for 2009, Box Holder Lot B will be moved to the former Prestige Parking area, just across the track from the boxes, which will put box owners closer to the boxes.  Additional parking may be purchased for $50 by box owners in the new Lot M, which will be located in the former Box Holder Lot B.  Boxholders will walk to their boxes from Lot M.  Purchase of a parking pass in Lot M allows only parking and does not allow entry into any area or hospitality tent.  No tailgating is allowed in Lot M.  Access to hospitality tents require the purchase of additional armbands above and beyond the cost of the box.

WHICH AREAS CAN I ACCESS WITH A BOX ARMBAND?

Box armbands will allow you to access the box seat area, the corporate tent village, and all tailgating areas.  However, in order to enter the box hospitality tents (Paddock Club, Turf Club, and Iroquois Society) you must purchase additional armbands.
