• The cost for a tailgating space includes one vehicle and eight people.  RV spaces accommodate one vehicle and ten people.
• Up to eight additional armbands for tailgating spaces, except for the Stirrup Club and the Meadows, may be purchased for $85 each through 8:00 a.m. April 26, price increases to $100 each 10:00 a.m. April 26 through May 6. (Prices subject to change)
• For The Meadows, armbands for up to twelve additional guests per space may be purchased for $95 each through 8:00 a.m. April 26, price increases to $110 each      10:00 a.m. April 26 through May 6. (Prices subject to change)
• For the Stirrup Club, up to eight additional armbands per space are $100 each through 8:00 a.m. April 26, and price increases to $125 each 10:00 a.m. April 26 through May 6. (Prices subject to change)
• Any accompanying vehicles (maximum of 1) must park in Lot T on Vaughn Road. Stirrup Club guests will park in the lot on Highway 100.
• RV area opens at 8:00 a.m. All vehicles must be in their spaces by 10:30 a.m.
• Topside, Centerfield, Stretch, The Turn, The Meadows and Midfield open at 8:30 a.m.  Vehicles must be in place by 10:30 a.m.
• Stirrup Club opens at 9:00 a.m. Stirrup Club vehicles must be in place by 11:00 a.m.
• Awnings and staked tents are not allowed. Because of Metro Code regulations preventing the use of tents larger than 10 feet by 10 feet without obtaining an inspection and permit, such tents will not be allowed anywhere on the Steeplechase grounds.

Centerfield Tailgating (formerly Infield)

Cost: $550 for one parking space and eight guests. This is our largest, most popular area with approximately 535 vehicles. Guests may visit all tailgate areas except Stirrup Club. Crossing the track is not permitted.

 

Stretch

Cost: $550 for one tailgating space and eight guests.  This section of 47 spaces is nestled between Centerfield and the Midfield.  This area has a great view and also provides easy access to both the Centerfield and Midfield areas.  Guests may visit all tailgate areas except Stirrup Club.  Crossing the track is not permitted.

 

Midfield

Cost: $550 for one parking space and eight guests. This area has a wonderful view and is located between the Centerfield tailgating area and the Topside tailgating area. Guests may visit all tailgate areas except Stirrup Club. Crossing the track is not permitted.

 

Topside

Cost: $550 for one parking space and eight guests. This area, with space for 113 cars, is on the opposite end of the track from the Centerfield Tailgate area. Guests may visit all tailgate areas except Stirrup Club. Crossing the track is not permitted.

 

The Turn

Cost: $550 for one parking space and eight guests.  The Turn is situated inside the track between Old Hickory Blvd and Centerfield, and it features its own Jumbotron so guests are sure to get a wonderful view of all the action! Guests may visit all tailgate areas except Stirrup Club. Crossing the track is not permitted.

 

The Meadows

Cost: $600 for one parking space and eight guests. Added in 2008, this area is the deluxe inside the track area and is located next to The Turn. It holds 200 cars and features larger spaces (20' x 27') than the other infield tailgating areas, with the option to purchase up to 12 additional guest armbands. Guests may visit all tailgate areas except Stirrup Club. Crossing the track is not permitted.

  

Stirrup Club

Cost: $550 for one parking space and eight guests. This area of 114 spaces is located on the hillside next to the general admission area and is in close proximity to the box seats.  This section offers a prime view of the final turn in the course.  Crossing the track is permitted, however guests must stay within the designated crossing area. Should track conditions deteriorate due to weather and excessive foot traffic, track crossings could be limited or halted completely.

 

RV Spaces

Cost: $600 for one parking space and ten guests. Up to 18 RV spaces are available along the track in the area closest to the stables. Guests may cross the track to enter the “inside the track tailgating areas,” but can not access the Stirrup Club.
